This Privacy Policy explains what Road Trip Mushroom Store (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you use roadtripmushroomstore.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the website and the services we provide through it.

- Order information: name, shipping address, email, phone number (optional), and payment details as processed by our payment providers. We do not store full credit card numbers.
- Account information: if you create an account, your email and chosen password (stored hashed).
- Usage data: pages viewed, items added to cart, and device/browser information, collected via cookies and similar technologies to keep the store working and improve it.
- Communications: anything you send us by email, including order support and COA requests.
2. How we use it
- To process orders, ship products, and provide customer support.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and — only if you’ve opted in — occasional newsletters and offer reminders. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
3. What we share
We share the minimum needed to serve you: payment processors (to charge your card), shipping carriers (to deliver your order), and analytics and email-service providers (under contract, bound to process only for these purposes). We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

For customers in the US and Canada, we collect and use your information to perform our contract with you (your order), for legitimate interests (security, service improvement), and with your consent where consent is required (marketing emails).
5. Your choices
- Marketing emails: unsubscribe at any time from any email; it takes effect within 48 hours.
- Cookies: disable in your browser; the store will still work, but some conveniences (like a remembered cart) may not.
- Access/correction/deletion: email [email protected] and we’ll verify you and handle it. Note we must retain order records for tax and legal periods, but we’ll limit everything else.
6. Data retention & security
We keep order records as long as required for tax, accounting, and chargeback purposes, then delete or anonymize them. Data is protected with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security — but we treat your data the way we’d want ours treated.
7. Children
Our products are for adults (18+ / 19+ where applicable), and the store is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
